Two Main Visa-Free Entry Regimes in 2026

Kaunas Airport is a Ryanair and low-cost carrier base with direct flights from dozens of European cities at competitive fares. Kaunas–Minsk is around 270 km. The route passes through the same Belarus–Lithuania crossing as Vilnius.

Riga / RIX Airport → Minsk

Riga is a convenient entry point for travellers from Scandinavia and the Baltic states. Riga–Minsk is around 470 km. The border crossing is at Grigorovshchina or Patarnieki. Journey time including border control: 5.5–8 hours.
